Please extract all files into a folder of your web server.
Access this folder through your browser. (e.g. www.mydomain.com/fastpublish1.6.9/install.php):
Select your language and follow the instructions.
Important:
Linux users have to enable read/write access for these files.
Data is being entered automatically during setup process. Please check
the data nevertheless. (Also, all important notes will be sent to you
via email.)
When you install the system on a Windows platform the files might be
write-protected. Uncheck the read-only box with a right mouse click on
the file. (Choose properties from the drop-down menu. )
Setup Step 3:
Make sure to use an obvious table prefix so that existing tables won't
be altered. (It is recommended to leave the default values
[fastpublish_].)
Setup Step 4:
Choose user name and password with 8 characters minimum each.
Most errors occur during the following step:

If you're not fully comfortable with the technicalities of the installation process at this time, it is recommended to use the off
position for both, the rewrite- and the image engine.
You can still change
these settings later within the administration area -> settings -
general settings.
