password protection

how to create password protected pages:

First you have to create a new article as described under creating a new article:
Now choose one of the following options from the password protection dropdown menu.

 The page is visible for all registered users The page is only visible for assigned registered users
If you choose this option:
Pages are not visible for the regular visitor (guest).

If you want a client to see these pages, you have to assign the client as a "registered user" in the useradministration. This person can now access all those protected pages using username and password.


If you choose this option:
Pages are not visible for the regular visitor (guest).

Registered users can only access these pages if they have been specifically assigned to this article. You assign a "registered user" in the useradministration.

Tip: This is a great way to save unfinished pages. Once you're done with the article, you simply remove the password protection and let everybody see the work.
